Scraper conveyor is one of the most widely used and severely damaged equipment in coal mines due to wear and tear. This machine is the main transportation equipment for coal mining face and roadway. In the fully mechanized mining face, it is also the supporting equipment for the operating track of the coal mining machine and the self moving hydraulic support. Due to the sliding of cargo (coal and gangue), scraper and chain in the middle groove, the working resistance of the middle groove is high and the wear is very serious.

By adopting a new laser enhanced cladding technology and following the friction and wear mechanism of the scraper conveyor, a layer of metal ceramic is fused onto the easily worn parts of the middle groove to enhance its wear resistance, which meets the requirements of equipment remanufacturing technology and achieves the circular utilization of the middle groove.
